Kindly be informed about the following ongoing construction projects on campus. As part of the water supply system improvement project, the construction of a new water storage tank with a volume of 700 m3 near to the Physical Plant building has started. We also plan to lay a new main water pipe line from golf course to the new storage tank and automatic control valves to maintain the pressure, which is scheduled to start from 15 February 2016. The water supply system improvement project is scheduled to be completed before April 2016. Office of Facilities and Assets Management (OFAM) manages the operation and maintenance of AIT infrastructure and facilities. Most of the maintenance services such as technical maintenance, janitorial services, landscape services, security services,  AITCC operations management are outsourced. OFAM asses the performance of all the contractors and facilities based on various Key Performance Indicators (KPI). One of the key indicators for their performance is customer satisfaction. Dear Members of the AIT Community, In connection with the planned "Student Mall" (which has been approved by the board but still waits for the consent of TU), the following construction will go ahead, as it needs to be completed in time for the visit of HRH Princess, tentatively in September this year. (1) Relocate the existing Police Station behind the AIT curved brick wall, to provide more decent space for the new sign board. Dear All,   We are glad to inform that swimming pool renovation is now complete and will be open to the users from 22nd March 2017. The users are requested to kindly follow the below rules and regulations at Swimming pool a.      The users of the pool are only AIT community which includes AIT staff, students and their families, the visitors at AITCC.  It is strictly not for outsiders. b.      All users have to register before using the swimming pool and the swimming pool staff may also request for the AIT ID card for verification. c.       Proper swim wear is required.
